Why spider Gizo-Gizo present in KADPOLY Logo
It was during one of these courses that the idea for the Kaduna Polytechnic crest that is the "spider and its web" which in is called in hausa as Gizogizo was proposed. An artist from the area named Mr. Alexius Enche created the symbol. The spider or Gizogizo represents a hero who, through hard work, determination, and cunning consistently emerges victorious in various Nigerian and West African folktales. This is a fitting representation of Kaduna Polytechnic's ambition to excel and improve its offerings. Since the six Northern States were the institution's original owners, the hexagonal shape of the symbol represents them.
