The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has opened recruitment for the year 2025, seeking skilled professionals from its 15 member countries, including Nigeria. This is a special opportunity for qualified individuals in the region to contribute to development, peace, and unity.


About ECOWAS

ECOWAS was established in 1975 and includes 15 member states: Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Mali, Senegal, Guinea, Togo, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, The Gambia, and Liberia. Its headquarters is in Abuja, Nigeria.


Fields of Recruitment

ECOWAS is seeking candidates in areas such as:

- Administration and Finance

- Human Resources and Legal Affairs

- Trade and Taxation

- Agriculture, Environment, and Natural Resources

- Education, Science, and Culture

- Health and Social Affairs

- Security and Peacekeeping

- Communications & IT

- Energy and Infrastructure

- Planning and Evaluation

- Political Dialogue and Strategy


Successful candidates will be assigned to different ECOWAS institutions including the ECOWAS Court, ECOWAS Parliament, WAHO, and GIABA.
